The church is so dark and flat in contrast to the sky, it just seems lost. The cross is so close the edge of the building the little gap of blue distracts the eye, a step or 2 to the left, no gap. Also, the peak of the roof is right at the edge of frame, give it a little headroom.

The flat lighting of this photo immediately turned me off. I believe that lighting, more than anything, makes or breaks a photo.

Shot from a little farther back at a different time of day, this could be a much more interesting, impactful image.

I like the idea, but nothing seems to be in proper exposure except the roof. I would have preferred either a well-exposed church front with a blown-out sky or for a blend of two exposures into one image (one for the sky, one for the church).

this looks like an old, medieval castle! to bad that top is clipped off, but this is so relevant!

I think the presence of the birds on the roofline add a dramatic effect to the overall presence of the church. The fact that there are three crosses and a nice steeple also make the shot for me.

Relevant but a bit under-exposed.
