OK, there is a church in there somewhere... This image just distracts me, it doesn't focus me anywhere. The little church is beautiful, I'm sure, but show it to me. I can just imagine some really cool framings, this just isn't one..

Lovely blues and a beautiful place but I'm distracted by the light posts in the foreground (especially the fallen one).

this really looks like a "classic" postcard - except for the post (felt down..) which really adds a nice surprise to the image :)

The mid-day lighting enhances the bleached white walls, which is nice. I didn't really like the empty blue sky at first, but it grew on me the more I looked at the photo, especially since it seems to compliment the white walls within the photo. Nice job.

Thanks all.. it's just that I missed the "traditional white Greek church" in the submissions till now..;)

I think that "postcard" is indeed the best description and for the blue, I wouldn't mind for a few clouds to spice things up, but those are rare in the Greek summer months. Of course photoshop could help there, but oh well..

My scores are all over the place. Relevance - Is that the church back there in the background? Impact - Why is there a light pole fallen over in the street there? Composition - The other light pole that's standing is placed nicely in a third, but isn't this supposed to be about the church? Technique - Nice clear view and good depth of field. Image Quality - Despite all the questions raised by the composition and relevance, it's still a nice image.

@kadenjack
of course that's a church.. Greece is full of those little churches, preferably build on completely unreachable places like tops of mountains and rocks sticking out of the sea.
The pole is there because they don't like tourists throwing community property into the sea ;-)
