This is a nice looking photograph that makes me want to see more to the left. It seems there is a different composition in there, somewhere. I like how the tombstones seem to appear people, bending over, tending to their garden.

Beautiful capture! I just wish some of the areas of the image were not so dark.

Looks like an interesting place...seems to resemble a castle or a fort, more than a church. Maybe the stark contrast adds to that perception as well.

Beautiful light, great b/w

Thanks for the comments.

After sunset, in the last light of the day, I was lucky to be able to hold the camera still enough to capture this atmospheric shot of St. Michael's Church, Marbury, England.

I like the path!!

King said 426 days ago:

Hey, Nick. The path is a big help. This is deliberately processed dark (with a bit of dodging), because the original scene was about this dark as I took the photo.

This was originally shot on color negative 35mm film.

Very nice, I want to walk down that path...
The area of sky just above the horizon feels just a tad bright, pulls my eye away a little.

King said 426 days ago:

Thanks, Beamer. Having read the comments, I think I would put some more detail in the shadows and do something to tone down that sky.

British churches seem to resemble their prison architecture. Curious....
