I don't quite know how to explain why, but this is a mesmerizing image. It looks like a picture of love.

I don't know what to say other than this one touches me and I just love it. It is definitely all about the eyes here.

Thanks all. One of the most important elements in the images I try to capture is that the emotions displayed are genuine. For me no amount of staging/posing can capture purity of genuine emotion.

Tracy and I were sitting at the dining room table processing images one morning. The early morning sun was coming through the windows and I looked over at her as she was intently working on some images.

I quietly picked up my camera and then placed my left hand on the side of her face. At that moment, she turned her head slightly and looked at me with the expression and eyes you see in this image. This is one of my most treasured images of Tracy.

And the rest as they say, is history.
