This is a really fun image. It's marred by the composition being centered and would benefit so much by having the boy on one side or the other. Also a more shallow dof would really make the image pop.

Excellent post for this theme as well as the neighborhood one. I was so surprised this wasn't featured before. Hopefully, all 5's will help : )

I gave this pretty high marks, but I think I'd like it even more if it were cropped in tighter to put more focus on the subject.

Ah, to be a kid again. I like the straight on composition. There's enough on either side of him to balance the picture as well as him balancing on the track.

Certainly fits the theme...but if I caught my son walking along the tracks I'd have him balancing on something else on the way home. lol.

I woyuld have liked this a lot better without all the distractions in the background. But that's only a small criticism - I do like it a lot.

Oh, I get it. It's a comment on US foreign policy - thinking about baseball while aimlessly wandering along a straight track even though an express train could come hurtling along at a moment's notice.

I'll cross my fingers and maybe this time....
