When I first saw this I thought it said "Beware Of The Net Curtains" which is a far more urgent plea.

Yeah, I don't expect this to be "Award Winning". I found this the day I bought my most recent SLR, and was just snapping away in Westwood, near UCLA.

For those of you who couldn't read it while rating it: "Beware of the Neo-Puritans."

I guess I should have had a lady wearing a wimple who was BlackBerrying - or maybe John Ashcroft - walking through the shot in the background.

No it well, and that WOULD be the neighborhood, but I bought it at Samy's on Fairfax - MY favorite camera shop in the world.

This looks like California with all that pink concrete. I'm having a hard time reading the sign so the "funny" factor is actually not too much a factor for me. I really like your composition though.
