Sweet little hands! I can understand making the hands more prominant by cropping into her little face, but the gain in doing that is undone by all the clutter on the right. Nice moment but not such a strong photograph.

This looks like a little girl showing something about her hand. Very relevant.

A cute moment, though there are some distracting things. The child's face competes for attention, but it's cropped half out of frame. I think it would be stronger if we could see her whole face studying her hand and without the background, or with a shallower depth of field.

Looks like the photographer bungled here, to keep the relation of the hands to the subject and struggling to keep the clutter out, in presentation/composition/cropping.

Aha … so I am that photographer ... Points and comments well taken …

i think the images has been cropped from the original? but this images make me curious about what she was asking. one of the images that make u stop.

She indeed was asking as how she got the colors from sharpie pens, on her hands, after painting and sketching around with them.
