This is a stunning shot, but too complicated for a "zen" concept IMHO. Too many fillagrie details.

I'd prefer a composition that didn;t stick the sun right in the center of the frame. This image would be equally strong minus the left 1/3 of the frame. Maybe even better. That would put the sun off-center, and that awsome line of birds near the center of the frame,and the trees would balance the sky out nicely.

Your exposure and image quality are great.
