Hmm. It's weird. Why is the main image sharp and colourful but the guy is blurry and grey, and why is there a translucent stick figure carrying a lighthouse drawn in? Are we allowed to do that?

I would really call this one absurd than zen - if I understad the theme well. Plus, the border between the man and the tone modified background is a bit disturbing.

High mark on the impact side, though - I like the feeling :)

Cette photo est un clin d'oeil au cinéaste Jacques Tati... J'ai trouvé cet homme à la pipe détendu, zen, perdu dans ses pensées... rajouter l'homme au phare amène pour moi le décalage surréaliste. Je comprends que cette photo puisse surprendre, voir ne pas être comprise... mais c'est vraiment ma vision du zen : impassible au milieu d'un chaos de sens, ici ludique.

This is odd, weird... it seems collaged. I like it, though it has little relevance to the theme. I like how the light house tilts into the sunrays.
